The Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand Annual Scientific Meeting showcased Youth Well Lab’s work on prevention and youth health:


Dr Rebecca Raeside co-chaired the breakfast session “What’s Hot in Nutrition”, delivered an invited presentation in the Community Partnerships session on engaging youth in cardiovascular health, and shared a poster on the primary outcomes of the MRFF Funded Health4Me RCT, which she has led with young people.

A/Prof Stephanie Partridge co-led the first Nutrition Round Table and delivered an invited presentation on youth CVD prevention and wellbeing, highlighting the role of youth leadership in shaping food environments and the growing public health implications of digital food environments - showcasing research led by Allyson Todd and Dr Sisi Jia


A big thank you to CSANZ and prevention stream lead Professor Julie Redfern AM for bringing nutrition and prevention into sharper focus at this year’s meeting.
